Mel K Designs will showcase her statement Summer 2012/2013 jewellery collection at the very first Savior Faire Perth Fashion Week in April 2012.
Four years since debuting at Rosemount Australia Fashion Week’s Emerge @ The Source, the announcement of a similar event in Perth was long overdue according to Kitson.
“Previous to Perth Fashion Week, WA designers have not had the platform to promote their label to the WA fashion industry.”
Kitson hopes to gain some exposure from Perth Fashion Week and securing any new accounts would just be an added bonus. “I want fashion conscious Perth girls to get to know and love Mel K Designs.”
The Summer 2012/2013 collection, rope | chain | stone, was inspired by time spent living in the remote town of Meekatharra. Kitson was moved by the colours and the shapes of the vast and baron West Australian outback.
“It’s a strong collection and I am really proud of it. Developing the range was immensely gratifying and I pushed myself to come up with some new concepts and ideas, “Kitson said.
Along with the Summer 2012/2013 collection Mel K Designs will showcase her Classics sterling silver range and the colourful Summer 2011/2012 collection currently selling in boutiques.

Mel K Designs will once again be showing her jewels at Unwrapped: The Marketplace in 2011. Do not miss out on this amazing event scheduled for Sunday 27th March on Angelo Street in South Perth between 12 and 6pm.

Mel K Designs will be attending the Bags and Accessories Fair in Melbourne from 30 August – 1 September, 2009. The Fair is co-located with Fashion exposed and The Shoe Fair.
