Melissa Kitson was inspired from an early age to appreciate the delicate and finer things in life and immersed herself in a lifestyle centered upon creativity and innovation. She developed an interest in jewellery design and spent several years evolving her skills.

With the support and influence of family and friends Melissa entered the business world in 2004, launching Mel K Designs, with the intent to secure a niche market in affordable statement jewellery.

Mel K Designs, jewellery is created using high quality materials including crystals, pearls and semi precious stones, individual charms and chunky chain.

Her creative flair for combining unique materials with stylised objects allows her pieces to make a statement. Her love of vintage enables the creation of one off pieces incorporating the old and new.
